Ask — Put AI to Work on Your Own Data

Ask is the AI interface to OGLAS. Question your whole site — or many sites — in plain English, and get real analysis grounded in your own readings. It reads your data, works out what happened, draws the chart, and tells you what to do. On your site or across sites, on your terms.

Ask is the AI interface to OGLAS. Type a question the way you’d say it out loud — “look at the battery data on the main house and explain the failure” — and it answers from your own data: it reads the readings, works out what actually happened, draws the chart, and tells you what to do next.

It’s not a chatbot bolted on the side. Ask has direct access to the same data your sensors log to Local and Cloud — every station, every metric, the full history. The answers are grounded in your numbers, not a generic guess.

And it stays yours. Ask runs on your site, against data that never has to leave it — or across sites when you want one view over the lot. No readings handed to a third party to get an answer. See Your data is your data.

A few real questions, answered — tap any screen for a closer look:

What you can ask

  • Plain-English questions — no query language, no dashboard to build first. Ask what you want to know.
  • Across the whole site — it knows your stations and sensors by name, and which ones are tagged inside, outside, main house, and so on.
  • Across many sites — one question over every site you run, when you want the big picture rather than one shed at a time.

It does the work, not just the answer

Ask doesn’t stop at pulling a number — it analyses and assesses:

  • Finds the root cause — walks the timeline, spots where solar collapsed, the battery drained, and the controller shut down, and lays out why.
  • Draws the right chart — picks the chart that fits the question (line, bar, pie, wind rose), and will reshape it when you ask.
  • Flags the issue and what to do — a clear summary and recommended actions: check the panels, the battery bank may need manual charging, visit the site.

Every Ask answer exports to a clean PDF — hand it to whoever’s heading out to the site, or file it against the job. Here’s a real one: the MPPT North battery-failure analysis shown above, as a printable PDF.

Where Ask runs

  • On your site — alongside Local, so questions are answered from data that never leaves the property.
  • Across sites — on top of Cloud, for one view and one question over every site at once.
